Reflection on ICT as Informative Tool
In today's digital age, ICT (Information and Communication Technology) has a revolutionary role to play in the teaching-learning process. Among its many applications, ICT as a tool for information significantly enables the teacher and learner alike to access the right content, enhancing the learner's participation and making learning more learner-cantered. Using websites, learning platforms, digital libraries, and online tutorials, information is rendered more accessible, current, and diverse in form. During my study of ICT as a learning tool, I used websites such as Khan Academy, YouTube, and National Geographic Kids to supplement classroom instruction. These websites provided visual and auditory experiences that complemented students' learning. For example, when learning about the solar system, a 3D virtual tour of the planets on NASA's official website captivated the students far more than pictures in textbooks.
