In today's digital classrooms, constructive tools are a crucial aspect of renforcing both instructional strategies and student learning. The tools—e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Canva —allow students to create, build, and construct understanding by being actively involved. They complement constructivist learning theory, which places learning in action as a construction process of meaning rather than passively receiving information. Google Docs and Canva are two examples from many more around us. Google Docs provides collaboration in real-time, which supports collaborative work wherein students work together in constructing essays, stories, and reports. It offers commenting and revision options, which makes it effective for peer review.
